French Connection

2 ounces brandy
1 ounce amaretto

Pour the ingredients into an ice-filled old-fashioned glass and stir them well.

Start with any brandy you may have (the flavors of fruit are seemingly endless), but don't be surprised that we recommend the economical and always available Christian Brothers brandy. It gets the job done. As always, we recommend Disaronno poured over your brandy for a delicious, two-ingredient cocktail that will bring a warm and welcome close to a long, cold day.
