Christmas is coming, and with this great holiday comes an even greater tradition—smoochin' under the mistletoe. The season of giving takes on a whole new meaning with this practice, which has advanced countless people to first base merely by being in the right place at the right time, or at least making it look that way. This week we honor you, botanical Cupid, with a drink.  

WEEK 37:

French Kiss

1/2 ounce amaretto
1/2 ounce creme de cacao
1/2 ounce Irish cream liqueur

Pour the amaretto into a glass. Slowly layer the other ingredients, one on top of the other, in the order given, pouring them over the back of a spoon. Do not mix. Down in one gulp.

Once you're done planting a 10-second frencher on the lovely lady, make yourself and her, this appropriately named shooter. Now, we prefer the always delicious Disaronno for the amaretto and either Carolans or Baileys for the Irish cream, but feel free to go your own route on this one, Romeo. Now that you've enjoyed a drink, perhaps invent an excuse to wander back underneath the mistletoe for a little tradition duplication. Repeat as necessary. Who knows, if you play your cards right, Christmas might come early this year (wink, wink). Cheers and Happy Holidays!
